Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, involves using a DP4 device with fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface. Pre-treatment:

Avoid tanning the treatment area before your session. Discontinue self-tanning products two weeks prior. Stop using glycolic acid products 2 to 3 days before treatment, and cease taking Accutane six months before the procedure.

Post-Treatment: 

Your skin may feel warm and tight and appear red for one to three days after treatment. During this time, use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer, and avoid swimming, strenuous activities, and excessive sun exposure. Refrain from taking anti-inflammatory medications for several days, as they can interfere with your body’s healing process.

Peeling and flaking of the treated area may occur two to three days after microneedling due to increased skin cell turnover. Protect the treated area with SPF 30 or higher after the procedure.
